The Maritime Museum of Ushuaia understands culture should be accessible for everybody.
The building that lodges this museum is a Historic Monument, so it had to undergo adaptations to provide access ramps, toilets and elevators to make exhibits and activities accessible for the physically handicapped with no architectonic barriers.
Complimentary wheelchairs are available at no cost with no deposit or payment required.
The number of these chairs is limited, so please call 02901-437481 in advance to make a reservation in order to obtain a chair for your exclusive use.

In order to use this service (not available for visitors in general), you need to require it when arriving at the museum.
